Hugh Falkus was considered one of the great exponents of fly
fishing and used to run a Cating school with his friend Bill Arnold from his
home in Cragg Cottage.
One of the major factors when approaching his method is
posture and smooth movements and to this end he came up with a series of novel
ideas to help the novice angler get the correct position and movement from the
outset.
Blow are a series of photographs of Hugh, his paraphanalia
and their use which you may find of interest.:-
