Spilsby Angling Association
We found this medal dated 1937 from the club which is still going.
The club is made up of two lakes. Partney brick pits and Peasgate pit.
Partney Brick pits owned by Mr J. Hudson is a well established lake which currently has 24 pegs of solid structure kindly part funded by the Environment Agency for our anglers safety, comfort and convenience.
The lake contains a wide ramge of species of fish comprising of:
Roach to 2lbs +
Perch over 3lbs
Pike over 20lbs
Rudd
Carp upto and over 20lbs
including Crucian, Mirror and Common Carps
Bream to 6/7lbs
Tench to 5/6lbs
PEASGATE
Peasgate is a smaller lake also well established with a more natural environment.
The pit contains:
Carp to 15lbs
Tench to 3lbs
Bream to 2lbs
Thousands of small roach up to 2lbs
